Horses in the Desert – Celebrating the Spirit of the West

Mariana de la Vega Art Gallery & Studio is excited to announce its upcoming exhibition, Horses in the Desert – Celebrating the Spirit of the West. This unique exhibition will explore the powerful connection between the desert and these beautiful animals.  It will be held from February 15 – March 2, 2025. The exhibition coincides with Tucson’s Rodeo Days and the renowned Gem Show, providing an exceptional opportunity for local and regional artists to gain significant exposure.

Whether your interpretation is realistic, abstract, symbolic, or literal, we are eager to see how you express the majesty of horses and the rugged beauty of the Southwestern desert landscape. The exhibition will be open to the public Fridays through Sundays, from 1 PM – 4 PM from 2/15 to 3/2.

Key Dates:

February 15, 2025: Opening Night Reception (4 PM – 7 PM)

March 2, 2025: Grand Finale & Artist Meet & Greet (1 PM – 4 PM)
